Helping Hand for Aleppo

A truckload of shoes was sent to Aleppo from the Trabzon- Arsin Organized Industrial Zone for the “Don't Let Humanity Die in Aleppo Campaign”.

Selcuk Iskender, Chairman of MEKAP Leather and Footwear Industry, which operates in Arsin Organized Industrial Zone, said, “We could not remain a spectator to the human tragedy in Aleppo. For this reason, we are sending 5,250 pairs of boots and shoes for children to the region via Kızılay. If we could contribute a little to the people who had to live there under very difficult conditions, we would be happy.”

Arsin Organized Industrial Zone Chairman of the Board of Directors Koray Turan said, “All our institutions operating here are very sensitive about this issue. We will continue to help from here,” he said.
